The Planning Phase concludes with creating specific tasks for the Execution Phase. After the client approves and signs off on the project plan and designs, the Delivery Team should schedule an internal planning session to flesh out the project's Monday board. During this session, the team should collaborate to break down estimates into specific deliverables or "successive delivery targets" for execution. To ensure that these targets are effective, it is essential to use the SMART paradigm and other tips outlined in the project document's section.
Following these guidelines, the team can create a high-level, iterative outline ready for the Sprint Planning process. This outline sets clear goals for each sprint, ensuring the team works towards a shared objective. During the Sprint Planning process, the team can further break down the high-level tasks into smaller, actionable items that can be completed within the given sprint timeframe.
