Kinetic Data offers group health insurance benefits to all full-time employees, their spouses, and their eligible dependents commencing on their date of hire. Health plan benefits are described in detail in the Summary Plan Description (SPD), which can be found here and also may be obtained by emailing hr@kineticdata.com.
Your group health insurance premium is paid 100% by the Company. Additionally, once enrolled in the health plan, you will be automatically enrolled in the Kinetic Data HRA administered by the Employee Benefits Corporation. If you are a new employee, you will need to go online to to activate your account. As you incur expenses, please log them at EBC, and once you have paid 10% of your deductible, the balance of your covered health insurance costs is reimbursed through the HRA.
As an employee enrolled in our health plan, you are also eligible to open a Health Savings Account (HSA) through CBIZ. You can use HSA Funds to off-set the 10% deductible that you are responsible for. You can also use funds for dental services, eye exams and glasses, hearing aids, orthodontics, prescription drugs, medications, physical therapy, speech therapy and chiropractic expenses.
For the 2024-2025 benefit year, the deductible is $5,500 for employee-only coverage and $11,000 for family coverage. Additional information is available from Human Resources, and you can also find details about the current plan in our internal Google Drive.
The company reviews its benefits program and available solutions annually and reserves the right to make modifications during the renewal process. Notice of any changes will be provided to all employees during this process.
The dental plan provided by Humana was designed to help you get the dental care you need and help lower your costs. You get benefits for a wide range of covered services — both in and out of the network. The goal is to deliver cost-effective protection for a healthier smile and a healthier you. Kinetic Data offers two options for dental insurance: a traditional plan and a preferred plan. To find a participating dentist, visit and search under the PPO/Traditional network.
Our vision plan offered through Humana Principal and VSP Vision Care. It provides choice, flexibility and savings through a VSP doctor or one of the many in-network online options including glasses.com, contactsdirect.com, Lens crafters, target optical, Ray-Ban and Oakley.
Basic Life & ADD - Life insurance offers peace of mind by providing financial protection to your loved ones in the event of your death. If you’re accidentally injured (ad&d) on or off the job, you may receive a benefit equal to your life benefit. Kinetic Data pro-vides $50,000 in Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, $20,000 for your spouse and up to $10,000 for dependent children at no cost to you. As you get older, the life insurance benefit amount decreases. The benefit will reduce by 50% at age 70. Spouse benefits reduce on spouse’s age.
Voluntary Life & ADD - Employees who would like to supplement their basic life insurance benefits may purchase additional life insurance cover-age. You must purchase coverage for yourself, in order to purchase coverage for your dependents. The benefit will re-duce by 50% at age 70. Spouse benefits reduce on spouse’s age.
• Employee minimum benefit: $15,000, increments of $1,000, with a maximum amount of $500,000. Guarantee issue is $50,000.
• Spouse minimum benefit: 50% of employee’s benefit amount, with a maximum amount of $250,000. Guarantee issue is $25,000.
• Child(ren) benefits: $5,000 or $10,000, which covers all children. Payroll deductions are age banded based on the employee and spouse’s own age.
Kinetic Data provides confidential assistance through its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to all eligible employees and their family members/dependents through our health plan. The EAP provides confidential access to professional counseling services for help with personal concerns that may impact job performance. These concerns may include, but are not limited to, health, marital, family, financial, legal, emotional, alcohol abuse, and drug use. The EAP can help assess the problem, offer guidance, and provide a referral to quality care.
Voluntary participation in the EAP will not jeopardize your opportunities for promotion or employment. You can contact the EAP directly. Any information about your contact, participation, or any recommended treatment is confidential and will not be disclosed to the Company.
In certain circumstances, you may be referred to the EAP by your Supervisors due to job performance issues.
If you test positive on an alcohol and/or drug test, you may be referred to the EAP for assessment and rehabilitation recommendations. Your decision to participate in the recommended treatment, successful completion of the program, and additional treatment recommendations will be communicated to the Company.
EAP services are available to eligible participants without charge; however, the cost of referrals to treatment or rehabilitation is your responsibility if it is not completely covered by insurance.

You can also and chat through instant message by downloading the iConnectYou mobile app. The mobile app password can also be found in 1Password.
If you or a dependent become ineligible for benefits due to a change in work hours or through a life event, or you leave employment with us, you may have the right to continue your health benefits under federal or state law. In such an event, the Company will provide you with information about your rights to continue your benefits coverage.
The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) provides the opportunity for eligible Kinetic Data employees and their beneficiaries to continue health insurance coverage under the Company health plan when a "qualifying event" could result in the loss of eligibility. Qualifying events include resignation, termination of employment, death of an employee, reduction in hours, a leave of absence, divorce or legal separation, entitlement to Medicare, or where a dependent child no longer meets eligibility requirements.
