Helping you to plan for and save for your financial future is important to us here at Kinetic Data, and it is for this reason that we offer our 401(k) program and financial advisory service. 401(k) Plan Eligible employees (as determined by the terms of the 401(k) Plan) may participate in the Kinetic Data 401(k) plan. Our plan provides for both employee pre-tax deferral contributions and after-tax Roth contributions. We provide matching funds of up to a 4% match for contributions made and, as further described in the Plan, with a 1%:1% match for up to the first 3% of your salary saved and .5%:1% match for the 4th and 5th percent. Refer to your Summary Plan Description (SPD) for specifics.
You will receive information from the company during your onboarding process that will include Plan documents and enrollment instructions. You will be auto-enrolled into the plan with a 5% contribution; however, you may also choose to decline to participate or change the contribution rate. So why 5%? This is the percentage contribution that will maximize the company match of 4%. You can, and should consider, contributing more as it is recommended by that you save between 10% and 15% of your pre-tax income to build sufficient savings that will support a comfortable retirement. There are also many factors to consider, and so that is why our benefit includes access to the financial advisory firm of Merrill Lynch and their resources.

The Record Keeper for the 401(k) is Empower which provides the website and mobile app for accessing your account. All changes you make concerning your 401(k) account will need to be done through Empower. While the mobile app can be downloaded from your favorite app store, the website can be accessed at . Empower offers advisory support for Plan participants and technical support which can be reached at 1-855-756-4738 and 1-877-694-4015, respectively.
