Policy
Allocation: A one-time allowance of up to $500 is available to employees upon request to facilitate the purchase of home office equipment.
Eligible Items: The allowance is intended to cover standard home office essentials, including but not limited to a monitor, docking station, desk, and chair.
Purchase Process:
Employees are encouraged to use their company credit card to directly purchase eligible items, ensuring a streamlined procurement process.
In the event that the total cost exceeds $500, employees may still make the purchase and then submit a reimbursement request, attaching the receipt reflecting the total amount paid.
Reimbursement Submission:
Reimbursement requests should be submitted promptly after the purchase.
The reimbursement amount is capped at $500, and the submission must include a valid receipt indicating the total cost of the purchased items.
Guidelines:
Prior Approval: It is advisable to seek prior approval for purchases exceeding the $500 allowance to ensure eligibility for reimbursement.
Quality and Durability: While we encourage employees to create a comfortable and efficient workspace, it's important to prioritize quality and durability in the selected items.
Appropriate Items: The company reserves the right to approve only items deemed appropriate and necessary for the creation of a productive home office environment.
